The Kotaku Box Scores featured a story by Owen Good about two of the site’s readers setting up the Roger Federer vs. Novak Djokovic match in the 2K Sports game, Top Spin 4. This was prior to the real life French Open semifinal in which Federer snapped Djokovic’s 43-match winning streak.
I’m not sure there’s a real need to have a detailed recap of the virtual game (even an epic one pushed to five sets), but since the the blog feature is called “Box Scores”, I suppose it’s fitting. What really amused me was the the headline: ‘Paris Match’, a play on the name of a weekly French magazine. I guess four years of high school French were not entirely wasted on me. I only ask Kotaku to feature Pravda in a headline of a future post for the game, Metro: Last Light.
